We had a great fun at the Queen Adelaide pub in Shepherd’s Bush at our first fundraising event!

Allan Connolly, a pub quiz guru, made us scratch our heads over who starred in what films, what tune is that or which football team won which match. He tested our local knowledge on when the Olympics in White City took place and how many pubs there are on Uxbridge Road between Shepherds Bush station and Askew Road. There was also flying planes race, a special deal on spicy wings and a raffle to win a signed QPR T-shirt!

We raised over £200 towards our fund supporting local projects tackling loneliness and isolation.

The staff at Queen Adelaide pub were wonderful and generous with their prizes and we are very grateful for hosting us.
