Savraj was born in the borough. Before joining the organisation, she worked in various philanthropy and communications roles over the years, including project managing HNW strategy and fundraising for political, environmental and arts campaigns. Her interest is storytelling to inspire change, and she is passionate about empowering people to make a life better for themselves and people they care about.
Savraj is also a keen volunteer; she sits on the board of West London Welcome, which supports refugees, asylum seekers, migrants in the area, co-founded Ready Tech Go, a BAME-led initiative which encourages locals to pass on old devices to benefit those affected by the digital divide in Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, and Westminster, and is a co-editor of UNICEF’s Humanitarian Action Report.
In her local downtime, you might find Savraj loading up on (a lot of) loose fruit at North End Road Market.
